Patak's Tandoori paste marinade and grill sauce

Since going gluten free I have been looking at what I can do to expand my repertoire of foods so I can make missing my favorites not so bad. One way is Asian and Indian foods. So I was very happy when a small Asian market opened in Moscow and they have been bringing in more and more items to try. They now have a small selection of Indian ingredients and conidments that I have started to look at.

Picked up this tandoori paste and once I discovered it was gluten free, into my shopping basket it went.

I thawed some bone on chicken breasts and took the skin off. Mixed the marinade with Greek yogurt and marinaded the breasts and skin.

When they had marinaded for a while I fired up the grill and onto the heat they went. The aroma they gave off while cooking was heavenly. I was hard pressed to wait until the chicken was done it smelled so good. But I was patient and when the chicken was finally done, dinner was on.

They tasted as good as they smelled. I haven't had much experience with Indian cooking, but I love tandoori and while this wasn't authentic gave me the flavors I remember. It wasn't too spicy for the hubby so he was happy. I had cooked up 4 breasts (and the skin was cooks treat, nice and crispy and very, very yummy hehehehe) and the two not eaten made very good leftovers for lunch the next day stuffed into GF puffs for little sandwiches.

Patak's Tandoori marinade and grill sauce is going to be a permanent resident in my pantry.
